Alright Teachers! It's Sunday afternoon, and you know what that means. This week's outfits are ready to go! And Week Two includes one of my favorite new pieces! And as always, this wardrobe is built almost entirely from basic pieces that can be found most everywhere. Have fun with it and make it your own! Jamie Pants | Ruffle Neck Top | Long Necklace | Leopard Pumps (Similar) Tee Shirt Dress (Similar) | Canvas Slip-Ons | Denim Jacket (Similar) Week Two brings back my favorite work pants from J. Crew Factory. Since they are honestly the most comfortable pair of pants I own, I suspect that I they are going to become my go-to Monday pants. This week I paired them with this amazing top from J. Crew. I first tried it on while shopping on Michigan Avenue in Chicago but couldn't quite justify its hefty price tag. So I waited somewhat patiently for it to go on sale and then snagged it immediately! I finished everything off with long necklace from Amazon and an old pair of leopard pumps. Of course after spending Monday in pumps, I'm going to need to give my feet a break on Tuesday. So I'm pairing my polka dot sneakers from Old Navy with an old Lou & Grey tee shirt dress. Throw on my long necklace and a denim jacket, and I'm out the door! Tippi Sweater (Similar) | Pixie Pants (Similar) Pull-On Midi Skirt | Crew Neck T-Shirt | Basketweave Flats I'm keeping it casual on Wednesday with an old camel-colored sweater and the red pants that always get a ton of compliments from my colleagues and students alike. And once again I'm adding my long necklace and polka dot sneakers before heading out the door! And it's more polka dots on Thursday when I pair this fun skirt from J. Crew with a black t-shirt from Banana Republic and a pair of leather flats from J. Crew Factory. This was the outfit I wore to see 'Hamilton' back in June, and I am so excited to wear it again. The skirt is perfect for twirling and the t-shirt is crazy soft with arms that come down long enough to hide the fact that I've skipped the gym for almost a year now. Plus polka dots! Edgar the Kitten (Not for Sale) I hope you have an amazing week! And don't forget to follow along on Facebook for my daily finds and more!

Hey, Teacher Tribe! I know I promised you a Back to School Wardrobe, and after a hectic start to the school year I'm finally ready to deliver! It's designed to provide flexibility so that you can make it your own. You don’t need clothes that look exactly like the ones pictured. Instead, I suggest that you start in your closet and start pulling items that are similar to the ones shown. Once you know what you have, start putting together your shopping list. But don't be afraid to shop thrift and consignment stores as well. This wardrobe is built almost entirely from basic pieces that can be found most everywhere. Have fun with it and make it your own! And then stop back by every Sunday and let me lay out your clothes for the next six weeks. I'll tag and link everything with the heading Back to School Wardrobe so it will be easy to search. Week One starts with my favorite work pants from J. Crew Factory. I mean...they have an elastic waistband! Mine are a size 8, so I would say they fit true to size. I paired them with this Word Hard Be Nice Tee Shirt from Amazon. Since these are the only two rules in my classroom, I couldn't resist adding it to my closet. On Tuesday, I'm pairing this fun sweater from LOFT with another elastic waistband from J. Crew Factory! My skirt is a size 6, so I would say to size down if you are in doubt. By Wednesday I'm definitely ready for sneakers, and I love these polka dot slip-ons from Old Navy! And since I'm obsessed with mustard for Fall, I'm pairing them with these khakis from Gap Outlet and a striped tee. My pants are a size 8, so I would say that they fit true to size. Finally, on Thursday I'm pairing this midi dress from Amazon with a denim jacket. This is dress is seriously awesome...and it comes in more than 25 different colors and patterns. Plus it has pockets! Mine is a size medium, so once again I would say that it runs true to size. Shop the Post Jamie Pants | Work Hard Tee | Denim Jacket (Similar) | Metallics Loafers (Similar)
